Are you Halal Zabiha Certified? And who slaughters your animals? 
​

• Yes. We are certified and monitored by HMS. 
• Our founder, Rachid; hand slaughters all the animals himself following HMS guidelines. This is the only organization with the Sharia board of America; which is a no-profit; that is leading the way with monitoring halal slaughter. We support their work because their mission is aligned with ours. 
•  We don't want to support for-profit certifying organizations because a lot of them are involved with shady businesses that compromise on the hand Zabiha shariah requirement due to greed. They allow machine slaughter, stunning and other practices that we believe contradict the true meaning of Halal.

​Do you sell larger beef bulk shares?

• We do offer larger bulk shares of beef. Additionally, we provide delivery directly to your residence. Our 1/4 and 1/8 Beef Bundles are typically available year-round, while custom cut 1/2 and whole beef shares can be arranged upon request at any time during the year.

Are you organic and grass-fed certified?

• Our farm may not have formal certifications for organic or grassfed practices, but we go above and beyond USDA organic standards by using regenerative techniques like rotational grazing. This method enhances the well-being of our animals and the environment alike. It helps maintain the land's integrity and boosts its vitality, all while ensuring our livestock enjoy a nutrient-rich diet free from harmful chemicals. We steer clear of synthetic pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.

• Instead of pursuing an organic certification that would raise our product prices without offering real advantages, we believe in radical transparency. This approach empowers you, the consumer, to see for yourself that our practices result in a product that is better for your health, the animals' welfare, and the sustainability of the land.

Is the chicken sold at Restaurant Depot yours? 

• No, the chicken sold at Restaurant Depot is not sourced from our farm. Our chickens are raised on small family farms, hand-slaughtered, and delivered directly to our customers. We are not affiliated with the company that supplies chicken to Restaurant Depot.​ Read our detailed Facebook post here. ​
