A Covenant of Trust (Amanah) between Farmer & Community
1. The Nature of Your Deposit
To reserve your share, a non-refundable deposit is required. This commitment allows us to invest in the ethical care of the birds specifically for you.
- Non-Refundability Deposits are immediately put toward the costs of raising your specific share (feed, pasture management, and labor).
- Application Your deposit will be fully credited toward your final invoice.
2. Pricing and Final Invoicing
Because we honor the natural growth of our animals, final weights vary by bird.
- Variable Weight You will be invoiced based on the final processed weight.
- Final Balance Once processing is complete, you will receive a final invoice. This balance must be paid in full prior to or at the time of pickup.
3. Pickup and Forfeiture
- Scheduled Pickups You agree to collect your share during the designated window.
- Unclaimed Shares Shares not picked up (without 24hr notice) may be forfeited without refund due to our limited cold storage capacity.
4. Our Commitment (Risk & Nature)
In the rare event of extreme weather or predation affecting the flock, we reserve the right to reschedule your fulfillment or issue a full refund of your deposit.
