​At Halal-N-Tayyib, as we made it our mission to make buying Halal Tayyib meats available to everyone. We also made it our mission to give back to our community by sharing wholesome Tayyib meats; with families who can't afford it; through our meat shares program. We are grateful to Allah SWT for allowing us to serve our community! But ever since we launched our Meat Share Donation Program back in 2019, people have kindly got in touch to ask how they can support our efforts further to achieve greater scale and impact.

Their contributions have been crucial as they have donated a meat share, a quarbani/Udhiya share for families who may not be able to afford Halal healthy meat otherwise. This way, money is never a barrier for Muslim families to access Halal healthy meat.
 
As the scope of our program increases and with your meat share donation, we can provide fresh Halal wholesome grass-fed meat straight from our farm to families who are struggling to put food on the table. Furthermore, you are showing support for an ethical and healthy alternative to factory farming, a sustainable agriculture that is better for animals, better for farmers, better for land, and better for us. 

​This year is especially difficult as COVID-19 spreads across the country, affecting vulnerable families in our community. The Coronavirus has made it extremely difficult for some families to put food on the table, but your meat share donation can be a relief for these families who wait patiently for Allah's sustenance to come to them through your hands! Your donation is more important than ever!

Your donation will be used to raise or buy healthy animals that will be processed and delivered to those who need it the most. You can donate an animal as a Sadaqa, to fulfill a Nazr, Aqeeqah, Qurbani, or any amount small or large to cover processing costs.

"The most beloved of people according to Allah is he who brings most benefit, and the most beloved of deeds according to Allah the Mighty, the Magnificent, is that you bring happiness to a fellow Muslim, or relieve him of distress, or pay off his debt or stave away hunger from him. It is more beloved to me that I walk with my brother Muslim in his time of need than I stay secluded in the mosque for a month. Whoever holds back his anger, Allah will cover his faults and whoever suppresses his fury while being able to execute it, Allah will fill his heart with satisfaction on the Day of Standing. Whoever walks with his brother Muslim in need until he establishes that for him, Allah will establish his feet firmly on the day when all feet shall slip. We are working to ensure that everyone will have access to Halal Tayyib wholesome food. Donating a meat share or making a gift to Halal-N-Tayyib Meat Shares Donation Program will enable us to continue offering wholesome meat to families in need throughout the year and bringing joy to them during occasions such as Eid al-Adha. We are collaborating as well with ICNA Relief to distribute meat shares in the greater Atlanta area. Meat share donation will be split between as many sponsored families as possible so the impact can be wide spread Insha'Allah. ​

What is received?
Your meat share donation will arrive vacuum-sealed, labelled, and frozen with meat selections to simplify recipient families' cooking needs!

How we distribute?
We distribute donated meat shares straight to families in Georgia, and we also work with mosques and other nonprofit organizations to identify and get meat into the hands of each struggling family. ​

Who can receive meat?
It is part of our vision to serve families that have fallen on hard times, who may be overlooked or who admirably do not want to be supported by a government system and new Muslim converts who find it hard to have access to Halal healthy meat. By providing them with meat, we are taking some of the burden of providing food for their family off their shoulders. In turn, they are able to focus their efforts on getting back on their feet.

Where is help needed the most?
The operations rely on a natural ebb and flow of continuous donations. Your gift whether monetary or otherwise, in any season, will play a vital role in feeding families.

How to make a difference?
