Rooted in Faith
Welcome to Our Homestead
Our journey from a humble homestead to a thriving farm. With Allah's guidance, our dream became a reality, and we are grateful to share it with you.

"One is never closer to God than in the garden"
Our journey began with a dream—a vision of growing our own food in a way that aligned with our values of sustainability, purity, and self-sufficiency. With Allah’s help, that dream became a reality, though the road was not without challenges.
When we first started, the soil on our land was far from ideal. It was heavy, clay-like, and lacked the nutrients necessary for healthy plant growth. Water either pooled on the surface or drained too quickly. Despite our best efforts, our vegetables struggled to thrive.
The regenerative shift
We discovered Paul Gautschi’s regenerative organic gardening method, emphasizing nature over conventional struggle. By covering the soil with thick woodchips and eliminating tilling, we allowed beneficial microbes, earthworms, and fungi to transform our depleted soil into a thriving, nutrient-rich environment.
The once lifeless, compacted clay turned into dark, soft, and fertile soil teeming with life. Where little had grown before, now a vibrant and diverse array of fruits and leafy greens flourish.
By utilizing woodchips and no-till methods, we enhance moisture retention and reduce weed growth without disturbing the delicate ecosystem beneath the surface.
This garden has become more than just a source of food—it is a way to connect. We are honored to share this bounty, knowing it nourishes both the body and the land.
This experience has been a testament to patience, faith, and the power of working in harmony with nature. We are beyond grateful for the bounty we now have and are honored to share it, knowing that our food is grown in a way that regenerates the land for future generations.
It is He who sends down rain from the sky: from it ye drink, and out of it grows the vegetation on which ye feed your cattle.
Surah An-Nahl 16:10"Who has made the earth your couch, and the heavens your canopy; and sent down rain from the heavens; and brought forth therewith fruits for your sustenance..."
Surah Al-Baqarah 2:22
One of the greatest joys of this journey has been harvesting fresh, homegrown produce—not just for ourselves but to share with our neighbors and community.
From crisp greens to juicy fruits and flavorful vegetables, we have been blessed with an abundance that we gladly pass along to others. Whether through a simple gift of a basket of freshly picked tomatoes or inviting others to join us in harvesting, this garden has become a way to connect, nourish, and give back.
“O you who profess faith!, eat from that which is good that We have provided for you and show gratitude if indeed it is God alone you worship.”
[Qur’an, 2: 172]
