Easy Butter Chicken Breast Recipe – Juicy & Flavorful in 20 Minutes

​Give this easy Butter Chicken Breast recipe a try for a quick and satisfying lunch or dinner! With its rich, golden-brown sear and a velvety garlic butter sauce, this dish is bursting with flavor while keeping things simple. Perfect for busy weeknights or when you need a delicious homemade meal in no time. Serve it with your favorite sides like roasted vegetables, fluffy mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad for a well-rounded, comforting dish that’s sure to please!
Buttery Chicken Breast Recipe
Ingredients:
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp dried thyme (or rosemary)
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • ½ lemon (for juice)
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions:
  1. Season the Chicken:
    • Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels.
    • Season both sides with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme.
  2. Sear the Chicken:
    • Heat 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
    • Add chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
    • Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Butter Sauce:
    • Reduce heat to low and add remaining 2 tbsp butter to the skillet.
    • Stir in minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
    • Pour in chicken broth and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes, scraping up any bits from the pan.
  4. Finish Cooking:
    • Return the chicken breasts to the skillet.
    • Spoon the butter sauce over the chicken and let it cook for another 3-5 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) internally.
  5. Garnish & Serve:
    • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken.
    • Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
    • Serve with veggies, rice, or mashed potatoes.
