Who We Are?

​Our goal at Halal-N-Tayyib Meats is to produce food that we feel good about feeding to ourselves and our children – food that is grown responsibly, sustainably, and ethically according to our creator's brilliant design. We believe that there is a better way – a higher calling if you will – that we truly are or will become what we eat!
 
Guided by our faith and inspired by our journey to eat that which is Halal (permissible) and pure (Tayyib) healthier food, we want to bring our experiences providing our favorite meats to you. We started Halal-N-Tayyib because we struggled about how hard it is to find true Halal hand slaughtered Zabiha and Tayyib meats for our own family. We got tired of the low quality of so-called Halal meat we used to buy from the market. 

The more we learned and became informed about the reality of the food in general we used to consume, the more determined we became about growing our own food or sourcing it from local farmers when we can't. So, we made it our mission to bring back the Tayyib concept to meat production just like it used to be straight from the farm by building a community who is passionate about eating better meat and supporting local farms in a mutually beneficial way. We are dedicated to make authentic Halal grass-fed and pastured meats easily accessible at an affordable price for our community in Georgia and beyond. We assure you that the process is traceable and transparent from our farm to your table. We strive to earn your trust as ethical suppliers of truly Halal and Tayyib meat products, and to delight you with the quality and ease of delivery of our products. We want for your family what we want for our family: healthy, wholesome, pure foods, produced by people who care about the end-product, its beginning and the process in between.
 
Our Halal pastured meat is everything you love about organic, and more. Tayyib for us encompasses all that which is good and wholesome including grass-fed, regenerative farming practices, and so much more! It does not relate only to how an animal is slaughtered, it has to do with the animal's rights in Islam including its treatment, rearing, its health, and welfare. In a nutshell "Ehsaan" excellence in all that we do. We believe that pasture-raised organic and non-GMO grown food is without a doubt Tayyib and it is far BETTER for us! BETTER meat means fair prices for us and our like-minded partnering farmers, a more sustainable and ethical food system, and food that is healthier and tastes even BETTER.
