How to Cook a Grass Fed Beef Steak

Picture
Grass-fed Steaks Cooking Suggestions

Thaw out your steaks in the refrigerator 1 day before cooking or if that is not possible thaw in cold water several hours before cooking.Allow the meat to come to room to temperature before cooking. Season the steaks with your favorite herbs for steak: or, use a rub.

A rub made from garlic powder, salt and black pepper works well and allows the true flavor of the meat to be experienced.

Turn the grill on High.

Sear each side for approximately 45 sec. to 1 min.

Turn the grill down to medium–low or low.

Cook the steak very slow for approximately 4 minutes and then turn and cook the other side for 4 minutes. Add additional time as required for your level of doneness.

Remove meat from the grill and allow to sit and rest for 10 minutes. The meat is continuing to cook during this time.  Enjoy!
