Our Halal pastured meat is everything you love about organic, and more. Tayyib for us encompasses all that which is good and wholesome including grass-fed, regenerative farming practices, and so much more! It does not relate only to how an animal is slaughtered, it has to do with the animal's rights in Islam including its treatment, rearing, its health, and welfare. In a nutshell "Ehsaan" excellence in all that we do. We believe that pasture-raised organic and non-GMO grown food is without a doubt Tayyib and it is far BETTER for us! BETTER meat means fair prices for us and our like-minded partnering farmers, a more sustainable and ethical food system, and food that is healthier and taste even BETTER. Only meat that reaches this standard can be labeled Halal and Tayyib!

At Halal-N-Tayyib, ​we believe that eating wholesome food is part of our Deen. We go beyond Halal and strive to abide by Allah's commandments to enjoy that which is Tayyib because it is better for us. So ​we made it our mission to bring back the Tayyib concept to meat production just like it used to be straight from the the farm by building a community who is passionate about eating better meat and supporting local farms in a mutually beneficial way.

• Our animals are raised humanely by living their natural life in the natural habitat Allah SWT meant for them to be in. They are given time to mature naturally  without the use of growth hormones, or genetically modifying their traits to grow faster, without the use of steroids and antibiotics in the duration of their life. 

• Our animals have access to wholesome food that is not harmful. Genetically modified grains such as corn and soy are very harmful to animals, humans, and earth. The feed for our chickens is strictly organic vegetarian, and for lambs, goats, steers, is grass-fed and pasture-raised.

• Our animals are born and raised on the farm and spend their entire life on the farm. We never allow auction-purchased animals.

​Healing Legacy Farm is all Halal and Tayyib focused. Located on 27 acres where we sustainably farm intune with nature and raise happy animals that eat what Allah SWT intended! At Healing Legacy Farm our main focus is to bring Tayyib back to everything we do. Starting with how we raise and treat our animals to how we do our agricultural practices. We believe that organic regenerative agriculture is a big part of Tayyib. We are grateful to offer variety of events that connect us with Allah SWT such as nature trail hiking, hunting, fishing, and camping in addition to Eid Al-Adha Qurbani celebration and other community gatherings.

We are grateful to receive Fund-a- Farmer grant from the Food Animal Concerns Trust (FACT) . Fact is committed to helping livestock and poultry farmers raise their animals outdoors on well-managed pasture due to the numerous benefits associated with pasture-based animal production.

​Animals living on pasture can move freely and engage in natural behaviors. They also experience lower stress, disease and lameness, as well as fewer reproductive problems. Pasture-based animal production can help to improve soil health and fertility, and mitigate climate change.

In addition, studies consistently show that pasture-raised animals produce nutritionally superior meat, milk and eggs. When compared to food from animals that were fed grain and raised in confinement, food from animals raised on pasture has better fat quality and increased levels of essential vitamins and nutrients.
