Reports of fraudulent practices, such as machine slaughter and stunning animals, have caused a decline in consumer confidence. The lack of federal oversight to enforce anti-fraud laws has further exacerbated the issue, leaving many questioning the integrity of Halal food products available in the market.
"O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth [that is] lawful (Halal) and good (Tayyib) and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy." They are also free from any components that Muslims are prohibited from consuming.
